Cicera’s Icewater

He is standing at Stud at Hyperion Stud Barboursville VA 22923. He is the Sire of stallion Cyrus out of Prettymarsh, filly Nadia Rani out of Summa Cum Laude and colt Cedric Rana out of Sunday Rose.

Icewater’s dam, Cicera, descends from one of the greatest stamm lines of the modern day, 474a, and is full sister to the great Cavalier Royal. During her Mare Performance Test, Cicera received a 10 for jumping and a 10 for her ride-ability. She was awarded as a States Premium Mare during her test.

Cicera’s Icewater was approved in 2002 becoming the highest scoring stallion ever approved in the 25-year history of the AHHA. He received 53 bonit points along with being crowned the National Conformation Champion. He has been highly successful as a breeding stallion in both show jumping and eventing.

He is standing at Stud at Hyperion Stud Barboursville VA 22923. He is the Sire of Caspian Rana out of Prettymarsh. Caspian Rana is a likely great jumping prospect as he jumped the stall door at weaning – fortunately clean with no injuries.

Dakota VDL aka Conquito, is a modern sport horse with expression and character. He has a great athletic trot, and a very smooth, balanced, light-footed, and powerful canter. Dakota was inspected and approved by the BWP NA in 2012 and received one of the highest scores in their history with an 87! Also in 2012, Dakota VDL was approved by the AHHA with an overall score of 74.5%. Dakota VDL is by Cassell out of Naomi II providing him with great genetics.

Contratto

Contratto is a beautiful modern Holsteiner stallion with an outstanding pleasant character, and rideability. His gait is light and elastic. He is bold, athletic and has exceptional jumping talent. Contratto is the Sire of Castor, a 2023 colt adjudicated a premium foal and tying with two others as the best foal colts during the 2023 Fall Foal inspection by the Holsteiner Verband.

Recognized in 2007 as a premium foal by the American Holsteiner Horse Association, Contratto competed the 2012 North American 70-Day Stallion Test at Silver Creek Farms. For his jumping ability he received a 9 for free jumping technique, a 9.5 for free jumping scope, and a 9.25 for show jumping. His other scores included a 9 for temperament, a 9 for willingness to work, a 9 for cross country gallop, and a 9 for constitution.

Contratto’s sire, Contendro I, is by Contender, out of a Reichsgraf mare, and has become famous for producing some of the best jumping horses in the world. Ridden by Mark Todd in the 2012 London Olympics, Contendro ‘s offspring NZB Campino helped New Zealand win a Bronze medal in Eventing. As a breeding stallion in 2015, Contendro I was ranked 1st  as an Eventing sire, and 16th as a Show Jumping Sire by the World Breeding Federation For Sport Horses (WBFSH/FEI).

Contratto’s dam, by Lord Calando out of a Caletto II mare, was an “S” level jumper in Germany, imported to the United States in 2000, where she successfully competed in the Medal/Maclay/Washington equitation divisions and zone finals for Junior Hunters.

Contratto stands at 16.1 hands, and has been accepted as a licensed stallion by six breed registries to date. These include the American Holsteiner Horse Association (2013), the German Oldenburg Verband (GOV) (2012), the Westfalen North America (formerly RPSI) (2012), the Royal Belgium Sports Horse Society (sBs) (2012), the American Hanoverian Society (AHS) (2012), and the American Rhineland Studbook (2016). Based on an outstanding performance at the 70-Day Stallion Test, Contratto is designated by the AHS as an Elite Stallion and is included in the select Hanoverian Jumper Breeding Program.

Irish War Cry raced twice as a two-year-old, winning both his maiden race and the Marylander Stakes at Laurel Park Racecourse.[Irish War Cry began his three-year-old season in February at Gulfstream Park, where he won the Holy Bull Stakes by a solid 3+3⁄4 length margin. He was entered in the 2017 Belmont Stakes and came in second.

Peace and Justice is 16.2 Hands-sold at $425,000 yearling at 2011 KEESEP, purchased by David Ingordo, agent for Justice Family Racing. He was the second highest priced colt by War Front of the year. Ran three 95+ Beyers. Named a “TDN Rising Star” after winning an ALW at SA by 5 ¼; His Sire WAR FRONT (2002), is Black type winner, $424,205. Sire of 7 crops. 453 foals, 362 starters, 56 black type winners, 256 winners.
